Our team will work with the insurance adjuster to ensure the claim is filed properly and accurately. We will ensure the project stays on time and on budget by communicating with the client every step of the way. 
 
Job summary
DRYmedic® Restoration Services is currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Reconstruction Project Manager to join our team! As our Reconstruction Project Manager, you'll work closely with our Reconstruction Project Coordinator and Reconstruction Director to schedule projects and lead our skilled and dedicated staff through each project from start to finish. With your exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers, adjusters, and other participants, you'll ensure that every project is completed to the highest standard and on time.  
 
As a true problem solver, you'll not only manage existing projects but also be responsible for selling new projects and developing scopes of work needed to restore the property after the loss and organize the job site. With your strong understanding of Xactimate and DASH software, you'll be responsible for managing these programs and ensuring that every project is executed seamlessly.

Responsibilities  
  • Including but not limited to: 
  • Reports directly to the Assistant Director of Reconstruction/Director of Reconstruction for job related items. 
  • Works with the Director of Mitigation and Mitigation Project Managers on mitigation jobs to help guide additional removals. 
  • Directs Mitigation Project Manager on how to organize detached salvageable materials. 
  • Attends mitigation phase to sell repairs to insured and begins planning of scope as well as discussions with the adjuster to start estimation process. 
  • Sets and manages expectations with the customer regarding estimate approval, start and end dates, change orders, insurance payments, mortgage company involvement, and deposits. 
  • Assists Estimator with scope preparation. 
  • Reviews estimate prepared by Estimator and drives communication with the adjuster and client. Along with the Estimator is responsible for estimate approval OR is entirely responsible for estimate approval. 
  • Hosts and directs pre-construction meeting. Formulates plan for the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent to run the production of the job. Expectation is that for most jobs they’ll have 2-3 site visits (beginning, middle, and end). Larger and/or complicated jobs will require more site visits. 
  • Works with Project Coordinator to pull building permits as necessary. 
  • Project Manager is fully responsible for accounting details of job.  
    • Collects 100% ACV and deductible either at start or prior to completion. 
    • Works with adjuster on release of depreciation and review and approval of supplements. 
    • Works with insured on CO details and collections. 
    • Assists AR with mortgage process submittals and draws. 
  • Works with Assistant Project Manager to select trades and reviews production schedule submitted by Assistant Project Manager. 
  • Prepares initial budget for Assistant Director of Reconstruction and/or Director of Reconstruction review. 
  • Works directly with the Estimator to prepare CO’s and supplements for review by the Assistant Director and/or Director of Reconstruction. 
  • Works with customers to resolve conflicts. 
  • Works with subcontractors to resolve conflicts. 
  • Conducts final walk-through with customer. 
  • File compliance – Dash, XA, and Accounting 
Qualifications  
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • 2+ years of experience in project management 
  • Must be tech-savvy 
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 30+ lbs. 
  • Able to solve problems with a sense of urgency 
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting when it comes to purchasing 
  • Communicate well within the team 
  • Insurance restoration background within Mitigation and Reconstruction Management preferred 
  • Proficient in industry specific software including Dash and Xactimate preferred 
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Calendar, composing emails, QuickBooks etc.
  • Industry specific certifications preferred: IICRC (Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification), WTR, ASD, ARMT, FSRT, OCT, HST, CCT, UFT, CRT, RRT 
Salary range: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 with competitive compensation package
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
